I am sure Red Hat also would be glad to help with this... (I do not
speak for Red Hat but by general norms).  Just thought of mentioning
this.

Maybe they have a IRC chat line (besides telephone line) or something
which could also be helpful

I do not know what are the recommended versions of all these things
but hope you are not trying to install latest version of Gcompris with
older version of redhat or something like that, in which case
*dependency mess* might be a best terms.

Look for these clues...
