[PLUG] ext4 fs

Just curious if anyone has already started using ext4 as filesystem?

from various references available i understand that though it is
stable as of 21st Oct. 2008 it is still marked as exprimental in
kernel so this curiosity.

if i am correct ext3 was extensively tested by a linux enthusiast
(probably a pro) at tifr or some such institute in Pune, and test
results were posted here, which at that time was a cornerstone for
many people to start using ext3...  i do not know if (s)he is still on
the list, but i would be interested to know if and when such efforts
are undertaken somewhere.

has that part of plug list archive vanished?
