[PLUG] Proposal for SFD celebration

Hi All,
As mentioned in minutes of meeting of
PLUG<http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com/2009/09/06/minutes-of-plug/>meeting
held on 5 September 09 that we (PLUG and Lokayat) will celebrate the
SFD. Here is the proposal. Please suggest changes/improvements.

Program 1

Lokayat and PLUG organizes following Software Freedom Day festival program

-> Free Software Introduction - Lokayat(Abhijit)
-> Talk on Software Freedom day and its history - PLUG (..?..)
-> Small Demo of GNU Linux
-> Film ( The Revolution OS/The Code/ Any other?)
-> Skit/play (ex-tempo or with small script) to talk about myths of
GNU/Linux as well as
    words which people have been forced to live up with (for e.g. Pirated)
and things like that.

Time : 5 - 8 PM, Date : Saturday, 19 September 2009
Venue : Lokayat Hall, Near Nal Stop, Law College Road
( Lokayat Hall is centrally located. It has enough parking space. Big enough
to hold program for  100+ people)

We(Lokayat) are in touch with some colleges like Modern Engg College, MMCC
Engg College. Please suggest more colleges where you can initiate the
dialogue. We need to give colleges proposal for SFD celebration.The general
outline could be

To finalize the SFD celebration plan, a meeting will held at Lokayat Hall on
Thursday, 10 September 09 at 7:30 PM.
