[PLUG] Trouble free linux distro for home use.

If you can wait for 2 weeks more, go for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Ubuntu is
supposedly the best desktop replacement for windows. Google more for the
benefits/features of ubuntu. And you can also use it for basic dev purposes
of course.
