When Mageia failed to get installed post 6.1,  I tried several different distributions... Manjaro, Debian, centos, fedora justvto name few...

Somehow almost 30 years of accumulated knowledge/wisdom failed to get software installed. I never used Windows so it was never a competitor.

In case of emergencies now I use old 586 based lenovo 2048 since it is running Mageia 7.1 without any hickup..

This issue is related to EFI boot partition and no matter how I tried it failed. Finally I decided to have no computer as time passes and age number increases...

Looking back happy about my choice and sad about the affairs... Maybe there are few like me. Maybe I am alone in this situation...
