[PLUG] partition table recovery

Hello all,
I installed open suse 10 recently. during install i wanted to resize my home
partition
and give about 500mb to the root partition. I tried but it was not as easy
as partition
magic. so i clicked on dont resize button. summary came up and it was going
to
format / and *extend* /home* *. I paid scant attention and proceeded. Now
all partitions
beyond /home are inaccessible. This includes a swap(256mb), FC4(4.4gb), D:\(
fat4.8gb).
The data on D:\ I have saved using a win program. The data on FC4 is not
seen.
So does anybody know of any method to revert/repair partition table(that
would solve
all problems) or any method to access data on FC4 partition either through
suse or xp?
Paid options do exist but cost $40.
