[PLUG] display problem -debian3.1 on acer travelmate 2424nwxci

hi,

i have installed the debian 3.1 using the dvd that come with the last month
issue of linux for you.

after a long try i am now able to get login through x window.

but i am not able to use full flavour disply as i am having widescreen
disply. can any one suggest me how can i solve the problem.

travelmate have 915 m display chipset.

i tried to select intel chipsets eg 810 but it can't solve problem.
currently i am suing vesa driver n able to get 800*600 resol.

and i want to build 2.6 on 2.4 kernal that come with this dvd. if any one
had tried or know do help.
