[PLUG] Squid Proxy problem

 Hi, I have a squid proxy configured along with firewall on my Red Hat Linux 9.0 machine.But there is some problem with the squid proxy. If I try to stop the service it fails i.e.it saysStopping squid.     [Failed] Even when I restart the service it fails to stop but starts as OK.Everything was ok till yesterday and this started happening suddenly. I did not touch the squid configuration file. Please suggest, it's very urgent.
