[PLUG] realtek nic

Hello all,
I have installed a realtek chipset nic on FC4.
During startup it was not detected i.e no kudzu.
After startup lspci gives:-

01:00.0 Communication controller: Conexant HSF 56k HSFi Modem (rev 01)
01:01.0 Ethernet controller: Unknown device 1904:2031 (rev 01)
01:02.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV34 [GeForce FX
5200] (rev a1)

Then did a lsmod but module 8139too not their so,
K -- system settings -- network  -- hardware-- new --
configured eth0 with appropriate Realtek RTL8139 SMZ EZ card.
Now 8139too in lsmod yet lspci output same.

So is this card detected and will it work with dataone ?
ifconfig shows only lo.
