Hello all,

The freedom toaster project : http://www.freedomtoaster.org/

As discussed in the meeting, the Freedom Toaster is a cd-burning kiosk or a 
open source software vending machine;
which enables users to burn different free software and other media (things 
like Gutenberg e-texts)
The main aim of the project is to overcome difficulties in obtaining free and 
open source software due to lack of Internet facilities.


This toaster has already been deployed at various locations over 15 cities in 
South Africa.
