[PLUG] SATA Disk support

I am also facing similar problems.  My disks are recognized as PATA by 
FC4, while FC3, Debian do not recognize the hard disk at all.  Even a 
custom kernel (2.6.15.x) when compiled using configuration similar to 
FC4 defaultfails to boot the system, with a kernel panic.
Any ideas ?
