True. :-)

It's actually quite helpful if you really need
something as sophisticated as e-lisp as a scripting
language. Not many other editors our there allow you
to script itself and add new functions using a lisp
dialect.

That said, I'm happy with vi. Never really needed to
write e-lisp extensions yet.
