In this case I would suggest that you to go with distro that has commercial
support available. (e.g RHEL) Client may be ready to give linux a try but
they won't commit to a distro that has only community support. Similarly for
ERP you would be using some DB in backend. Same principle applies here as
well. DB vendors would certify their products on certain distro only.
