[PLUG] help me for shell script

I want to write shell script for red hat Linux to acess samba client each time system boots. This script should automatically backup data on windows machine \\LAB12\swa. In case original folder on windows is deleted it should restore it. On terminal it should appear in one line only. Backup and restore can be done on seperate lines.
