Hmm my ip settings on windows shows this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Rohit>ipconfig /all

Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . :
Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Unknown
IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : <deleted/>
Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 121.XYZ.184.ABC

I guess now you can understand why I have a netmask of 255.0.0.0 for
the interface. For the gateway... well I have no particular reason of
putting it there .. I was just experimenting to see what works.
