but:

1.  How will I check for message integrity if I am reading the
messages from the archives or through webmail?  Does PGP check a
selected text block from any webpage directly?

2.  Who would like to jump through the hoops required to cut, paste and check?

3.  Would it not be better to have a web interface to read and reply
to messages (e.g. slashdot) after logging in?
