Umm.. without actually planning to start a distribution war here, but
the off-the-cuff replies to issues in the form of "Dump distribution X
and use Y" is kind of self defeating. Consider the situation, Nishant
has from his ISP a static IP, netmask, gateway IPs and nameserver bits.
For any distribution (not limited to Linux) that's more than enough to
get a connection going. It appears from Nishant's mail that the query is
more about "what do I have to do next" rather than "damn this Fedora
thing so sucks, tell me another distribution that can get me on the
internet"

On the other hand, you are entitled to your opinion though ;)
