[PLUG] FOSS essentials workshops?

Hi all,
 came across this

maybe PLUG could do something like this...1-2 day event, with some
cover charge for participants to cover costs (food, logistics etc)..
with some org. sponsoring a venue.
Earlier PLUG used to do Linux awareness courses.. donno whats the
status of it now.
