[PLUG] Dell config on Mandriva&Ubuntu

Hi all,
Got a DELL SE198WFP from Compuciti today :-)
Did not include a power cord :-(
Configured on Mandriva 2008....a bit difficult.
I had to choose the nearest DEll monitor and then change
the resolution using vi & xorg.conf.
Configured on Ubuntu Hardy....easy
no editing of xorg.conf.
In drop down of resolution selected other
and it expanded to give resolution of 1440x900.

Awesome....bit difficult adjusting to 19" real estate.
It will take time meguess.
