I'm also seeing this problem.  (In fact, this problem appears in some other 
sites as well.  I haven't noted such sites as these were not crucial for me).  
I'm using Open SuSE 10.3, Firefox 3.0, Opera 9.63 and Konqueror 3.5.7 (using 
KDE 3.5.7 "Release 72.9").  In fact, under Konqueror, the links don't appear 
even in the background.
