I too read that in DNA newspaper.

Are they going to *heavily* subsidize the so-called laptop ?
If not, I'm not sure if you can get even the hardware at such a low
price (let alone cost of OS/apps)

These kind of announcements aren't new. Reminds me of "Simputer" buzz
we had few years ago.
