[PLUG] Need help for our school

It is good to see schools moving to Linux, even if for cost purposes
(although not explicitly mentioned could be one of the reasons)

That is a tough deadline to convert all PCs to linux AND handholding.
Depending on the experience (or lack of) of users with OpenOffice, that
alone can take longer than the time you have.

I suggest you move to the Open source applications first (like Open Office
on Windows) and then change the OS
Off course changing the server shouldn't matter much to end users
