[PLUG] Ubuntu Update Manager - dpkg query

Namaskar,
While upgrading Ubuntu Upadte Manager is suggesting:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. 
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
What is the command to be given at terminal ?
