[PLUG] Open Office does not check spellings

Hi all,

when i write into my open office writer it does not check for spellings.
even if i deliberately make mistake & run the spell checker it does not give
any error.

I tried to install new dictionary from file-wizards but i did not find any
option to install a new dictionary.
I tried setting up another dictionary from tools-options-writing aids but i
have only 1 dictionary.

i want oo to check spellings as i start typing.
can someone please help
