Hi Ashok,
Sorry for the delayed reply. There has been a similar thread to this
one on the opensuse list and someone recommended banshee instead of
gtkpod since it has better support for all of the ipods and ipod touch
and iphone. You may want to check this out at the following links

I haven't used it, but it seems a better way to go, especially for the
ipod touch and iphone. Gustav
