I wonder whether one can still get a legit 'trial version' of Windows XP ?
If yes, then that would solve your problem at least for now. Later, you can
choose to keep a machine running a version of linux on which ies4linux runs
well, or run that linux in virtual box (which you could as well do right now
:) ).
