Try reducing the connection speed to 57600 and oce it succeeds then
climb up the cpeed to your desired value.

in NetworkManager Modules, that is the inly parameter which is not
getting defined in the debug mode logs, so may be a good place to
start debugging...

Next in Line is off-course MTU, for pppOverEthernet the value lower
than 1500, something like 1452 , or similr is required for some
devices...
