No no. That's a normal UPS that supplies AC power. I have one like that
and I'm sure many of us have one of that kind.

I am looking for an uninterruptible DC supply, which does not need an
inverter and hence should be more efficient and compact. Look at it as
something like a DC adapter which would supply DC power adapting from
either mains or from a battery if mains supply cuts off. (Just take off
the inverter from a normal UPS.)

Having said that, if such device is not available, I am looking for a
normal UPS, but with a very compact size (less VA rating), preferably wall
mountable.

I found some local UPS makers' contacts from the web. Will try reaching to
them in the coming week.
