[PLUG] GRUB's biased behaviour...

When I was installing Mageia 6.1 why should grub use kernel of Mint lying in /boot directory preferentially?

It is for Mageia's core owners' team to address such questions themselves before making choices of abandoning the Old faithful (in this case LILO) in favour of noise making biased (Grand Unified Boot)...
