The issue is still open. They hear it out every time as if it's fresh
issue. They have given total 7 complaint numbers till now for the same
complaint. I have sent about 15 mails and they called back as many times
till now with only stereotype conversation and totally unrelated
"resolutions" every time till now.

Most of the times they close the issue unilaterally. They know only two
states - connection "working" and "not working". So if they find that I
logged in, they just close the issue.

Only once a technical person had visited. He just tried a different IP
address etc. Then he said this may be happening due to "slow" connection.
On being told that's not the case, as the speed is good and the issue has
been in this state for months, he just offered to send someone to carry
out renewal (by buying the renewal pack through them etc).

Basically no-one till now showed any inclination whatsoever even to
diagnose the problem, leave alone fixing it.

Most of them (including a supposedly technical person who visited) seem to
believe there is no problem whatsoever. Basically, "a certain ip being
inaccessible" should be a very high priority issue for an isp. They don't
see it that way since that ip happens to be their own renewal server and
they provide manual renewal option.

I will continue to follow up - at least for some entertainment now, if not
for resolution.

Mayuresh.
