free software lovers,
We have earlier engaged with cases (including writing to education
departments in cases where proprietary software has been stipulated in
procurement documents / syllabi / programmes etc.)

Rajasthan government which plans to distribute 56,000 laptops to students
has specified proprietary software (Adobe Professional writer, Microsoft
Office professional) in its bid document. Final RFP document and a letter
