[PLUG] Need PDF reader to open password protected pdfs in Ubuntu 16.04

This may sound weird,

if possible try installing rpm version of adobe on ubuntu.

I believe it can be done.

I many times do not follow their recommended package selection and 
select thus for specific (unrelated) reasons.
